1. Using WealthLens

These draft terms explain the intended use of WealthLens. By choosing to start the cookie-backed application, you request its record-keeping functionality. You can read public information without starting the application. These terms require owner and legal review before being relied on as production terms.

2. A personal finance application

WealthLens provides manual accounts, income and expense tracking, internal transfer records, budgets, earmarked savings goals, analytics and reports. There is no authentication, database, bank integration, payment execution or investment trading. It is not a banking, brokerage, custody or accounting service.

3. Your responsibilities & acceptable use

Enter only information you are entitled to use. Prefer sample information, verify your entries and keep any backups you need. Protect your browser profile and exported files. Do not provide passwords, bank credentials or sensitive identity information.

Do not use the application to submit unlawful content, interfere with its operation, circumvent safeguards or access another person's information. No user account exists to recover records lost with your browser data.

4. Accuracy & financial decisions

Calculations depend on user-provided amounts, dates, categories and opening balances. Reports may be misleading when information is missing or incorrect. Transfers do not create income or expense, and goal contributions earmark money without moving account balances.

The information is educational and informational. Verify material figures independently and seek an appropriately qualified professional when needed. The Financial Disclaimer describes these limitations in more detail.

5. Availability, changes & discontinuation

The application may be changed, interrupted or discontinued. Availability, uninterrupted access and data recovery are not guaranteed. Cookie limits, browser policies, expired cookies and software errors can prevent writes or remove records. Export records before relying on continued access. You may stop using the application and remove its cookies at any time.

6. Intellectual property & license

The repository identifies its software license as MIT. The repository LICENSE file states the relevant permissions, conditions, copyright notice and warranty disclaimer; existing authorship and required attribution remain in effect. These terms do not grant rights in third-party names, trademarks or assets beyond their applicable licenses.

7. Limitations, subject to applicable law

The application is provided as available, with the software warranty limitations stated in its applicable license. No assurance is given that it is suitable for a particular financial purpose or that data can be recovered.

Nothing in this draft excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. A governing law, legal entity and dispute-resolution forum have not been established for this project; the owner must resolve these items with appropriate advice before production use.

8. Changes to these terms

Changes should be reflected in the document date and version. Read the current terms and linked policies before starting a materially changed service. This implementation does not claim regulatory authorization, legal certification or approval of these terms.
