WealthLens
Track expenses without losing the context
A transaction list is more useful when each entry has an account, a date and a category. WealthLens lets you maintain that list manually, so you can review daily spending without sharing bank credentials. Use the sample ledger to learn the workflow before adding your own records.
Record what actually happened
Choose income, expense or transfer, enter the amount, account and transaction date, and select a category where applicable. Dates cannot be in the future. You can search and filter the history, then edit or delete an entry when a record needs correcting. Balances update from the ledger rather than from a separate editable total.
Review a CSV before importing
The transaction importer lets you map spreadsheet columns and inspect validation results before confirming the import. Check dates, categories, decimal separators and account assignments carefully. Choose which valid rows to add to your ledger. Keep a JSON backup for restoring a complete ledger rather than relying on a report CSV.
Keep transfers separate from spending
Moving money from a bank account to a cash wallet lowers one balance and increases the other. It does not make you richer or increase your expenses. In the example below, only the recorded expense reduces net cash flow. Consistent categories make monthly budgets and spending analytics more useful.
Worked example · fictional VND amounts
- Income
- ₫32,000,000
- Expenses
- ₫1,200,000
- Transfer between own accounts
- ₫3,000,000
- Net cash flow
- ₫30,800,000
Why is a transfer missing from my expense total?
A transfer moves existing money between your accounts. Expense totals and category budgets count expense transactions only.
Can I schedule future transactions?
WealthLens records transactions dated today or earlier in the Asia/Ho_Chi_Minh timezone. It does not post future-dated transactions or make automatic payments.
Is CSV import automatic bank synchronization?
No. You provide a file and review the import. There is no live connection, bank authorization or background synchronization.
No sign-up. Set up your first account and start tracking income and expenses.
